LMD is certified according to ISO 14001:2015, and we are in the process of certification for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013 and Uptime Tier III. In addition IBM has worked closely with Lefdal Mine datacenter in developing the concept. The facility is built according to IBM Level 3 standards.
Lefdal Mine Datacenter is using the same software that we are running on the existing datacenters in the group, as our management software. In addition Landax – our QMS solution – is integrated as a tool for quality management, reviews and control functions, health, safety, facility, risks analysis and support.
These tools help us ensure that we comply to all laws and regulations and applicable standards for our business, and to make sure maintenance programs are well planned and performed according to customer requirements.

Uptime Tier III
Tiers is the global language of data center performance. Uptime Institute’s Tier Classification System is a means to effectively evaluate data center infrastructure in terms of a business’ requirements for system availability.
The Tier Classification System provides the data center industry with a consistent method to compare typically unique, customized facilities based on expected site infrastructure performance, or uptime.
Lefdal Mine Datacenter is doing a certifiaction process with Uptime Institute to certify the facility to Tier III.
